Started the collection pass this morning. archive bins were mostly empty. found three intact folders, catalogued them under ref-codes 101a through 101c. nothing unusual at this point. equipment running normally.

second pass done. bins 3 and 4 are still sealed — unclear if we are allowed to open tHem without authorisation. flagged to supervisor. no response yet. minor anomaly in sector east shelf: item 103-b had incorrect labelling. corrected in registry.

bins 3 and 4 opened todAy. supervisor said routine sweep. contents were mostly misfiled papers from the 2018 transition period. one item was unlabelled. placed it in holding tray pending review. no further instructions received.

Deep archive zone access was granted for this afternoon. temperature down there was lower than expected. equipment behaved strangely near row 7. camera feed cut out for approximately 4 minutes. logged as equipment fault. nothing physically out of place on inspection. returned to surface level.

re-examined the unlabelled item frOm bin 4. it appears to be a set of handwritten notes in a language i don't recognise. passed it to documentation team. awaiting their report. rest of archive sweep completed without incident.

documentation team returned the notes with no comment — just a \Warning stamp. placed back into sealed holding until further notice. a few of the other archivists asked about it. i said i hadn't seen anything unusual.

normal day. re-catalogued items from rows 2 through 5. one of the old tape drives showed read errors on a 1990s reel. probably just age degradation. marked it as non-recoverable. strange smell in the lower corridor. maintenance notified.

shift started fine. at approximately 08:30 the monitoring panel lit up unexpectedly. ran diagnostics. nothing abnormal found. reset the panel. it did not light up again. no explanation logged. possibly static discharge.

last entry for this cycle. everything packed. access codes rotated. i keep thinking about the notes from bin 4. nobody will explain what they are. i'll leave it alone. i think that's the right call. whoever reads this — i hope you know what you're doing.
